Welcome
To the Nursing CPD Institute, one of Australia’s leading providers of online CPD education for Nursing professionals. We are dedicated to providing you with a comprehensive, continually updated CPD library at an affordable price – saving you time and money.
What we do
The Nursing CPD Institute provides an online education platform. Nurses use this platform to meet their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Annual Registration Standard Requirement with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). This means, as a Subscriber, you can access hundreds of CPD sessions that meet the NMBA requirements at a time and on a device that suits you.

Our Vision
To create an online Nursing community that champions the ongoing education of Nurses leading to the improved delivery of health services across Australia and abroad.

Our Mission
To provide convenient, easily accessible, and affordable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs to Nurses.

Our Goal
Nurses directly impact the delivery of health services in their community and influence the direction of health services in the future. Our goal is to make a difference to the recipients of health care by strengthening the knowledge of our Nursing colleagues.

Our Belief
Nurses are the backbone of health care – the knowledge base of each individual Nurse has a direct impact on the happiness and experience of the recipients of health care services. Nursing is our Passion – Education is our Purpose – You are our Focus

Our Story
It’s not every day that Nurses decide to leave the security of a paid job to create an education website. But that is precisely what happened in 2011. Indeed, the Nurses for Nurses Network was created by two Australian Nurses who were working as Health care consultants in rural and remote Australia.
“Nurses we were working with would continually complain how difficult it was to easily access education sessions at a time that suited them for a reasonable price. So, we thought we could do something about that, and the Nurses for Nurses Network was born.”
The original education concept grew to include conferences and seminars. The decision was made in 2018 to create two separate websites – one would focus on CPD online activities and the other on CPD Travel conferences.
The Nurses for Nurses Network became the CPD Travel site, and the online CPD membership platform became the Nursing CPD Institute. Both are offering exceptional education content, just with a different focus on delivery.
One of the founders, Sue Walker, remains the Director and CEO.
