‘The Australian Open Disclosure Framework (the Framework) is designed to enable health service organisations and clinicians to communicate openly with patients when health care does not go to plan.
Open disclosure has been implemented and adopted in various healthcare services both locally and internationally for over two decades. This session utilises the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care, Australian Open Disclosure Framework document as the basis.
