This CPD session reviews the fundamental task of Basic Life support - Cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The ANZCOR Guidelines for CPR 2021will be used as the basis for the presentation. You will review the task requirements of CPR and explore the steps of basic life support. The risks associated with CPR will be examined.

Course Content

This CPD session reviews the fundamental task of Basic Life support – Cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

The ANZCOR Guidelines for CPR 2021will be used as the basis for the presentation.

You will review the task requirements of CPR and explore the steps of basic life support.

The risks associated with CPR will be examined. As will the provision of CPR for a pregnant woman, and the recommendation that family be allowed to be present during resuscitation and the policy requirements to facilitate same.
