Each year there are about 200 000 healthcare-associated infections in acute healthcare settings in Australia, with surgical site infections being the most common types.
This webinar will provide clarity on surgical nursing practice in terms of managing the aseptic technique within the perioperative environment, and discuss preventative measures to minimise the risk of surgical sepsis.
