Teamwork makes the dream work! What is the role of the team in wound healing? As an RN where do fit into that team? How can we work together to ensure good healing outcomes?
What are your challenges in managing complex and chronic wounds? Do you find challenges in keeping consistency in managing a wound? Do too many cooks spoil the broth?
How can we delegate within the team in Wound Management? If you are coordinating how often do you check what is happening?
This webinar explores teamwork in managing a complex and chronic wound. We will explore the scope of practice in relation to wound care, different skills that a team can bring to ensure the best healing outcomes.
We will focus on the role of the Nursing team in this process and look at the limitations of the nursing role. We will also look at a case study that demonstrates good healing outcomes with a team approach.

Louise has over 20 years’ experience in wound management and has worked across a number of public hospitals and Community Nurse Settings both in Australia and overseas.
She completed her Master of Nursing Science with QUT & became an endorsed Nurse Practitioner in 2014 and currently runs her own private practice in Skin Integrity & Wound Management.
