The requirement for mandatory reporting exists in various legislation. Certainly, there are professional obligations imposed on registered Nurses by their profession. However, there are other areas that relate to Nursing that have legal requirements to notify.
This webinar will explore the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s mandatory and voluntary reporting requirements. Included will be legislation covering Children at risk, Elders at risk in care situations and notifiable diseases. The protections that exist in law to protect reporters and the standards applied to those reporters will be examined.
