Pamela Doherty has worked with Children by Choice as their Education and Training Co-ordinator since 2009. Children by Choice provides counselling, information and education services on all options with an unplanned pregnancy, including abortion, adoption and parenting. Children by Choice has been working to advance Queenslanders' reproductive choices, and to improve access to safe and legal abortion since 1972.

Course Content

Reproductive Coercion, a new area of research, is believed to be on the rise in Australia and its effects can be far and wide.

In this webinar, we will discuss reproductive coercion, and its link with Domestic Violence, unplanned pregnancy and abortion. You will also explore how health care practitioners can support reproductive autonomy and empower women to exercise their reproductive rights.
