In 2016, the sepsis guidelines were updated to include a new recommendation system which saw a number of new and improved recommendations. In this session, you will review the recommendations and improve your knowledge and understanding of the current management of sepsis and septic shock.
The new sepsis guidelines have brought with them a new way of making recommendations and identifying which of those have evidence to back them and those of which have little evidence but are essential in the management of sepsis and septic shock. In these updated guidelines, we also see the definition of sepsis change.
