Our award-winning company was born when, during her career in cosmetic medicine practice, Elissa realised that there was a need for flexible, high quality, post-graduate continuing professional development for health professionals with regard to lasers and other light-based therapies that was evidence-based and pitched at the high level required of this complex landscape.

Elissa lives in Canberra with her surveyor husband, two fun and interesting adult children, a crazy kelpie, a moggie and a pond full of goldfish.

Course Content

Nursing is no longer confined to hospitals and community health centres and the cosmetic medicine industry is one that is booming. As the population ages people are looking at ways to maintain their skin health, prevent disease and ageing and look their best.

Nurses play a valuable part in this and can own their own businesses or work in cosmetic medicine, dermatology or plastic surgery clinics using lasers,
administering dermal fillers and chemical peels and recommending medical grade skin care.
