Focus on Feeling Fabulous NFN Members Retreat
15 June - 12 June 2015
We had the most fabulous time in Byron Bay at our annual Nurses for Nurses Network Retreat. We experienced exceptional food supplied by Veet’s Cuisine and the lecture on the benefits of the vegetarian diet provided by Veet gave all the participants food for thought. The accommodation at Tallow’s Beach Houses was lovely and the environment certainly encouraged reflection and relaxation.
The program for the retreat was very full and all attendees participated in some great CPD sessions with information that can be applied in both their personal and professional lives. The optional day tour to Nimbin for a lecture on the medicinal use of Marijuana was a highlight for all that attended.
The camaraderie of the retreat was just as important as the program and we all shared (as Nurses always do) our varied work experiences during our evening meal together. I’m continually amazed at the talents of my nursing colleagues and this retreat was no different – we were entertained by a number of the group who played a very good ukulele for us all to sing along to.
There was time available to explore what Byron had to offer as well as relax and reflect.
A great Retreat made better by the exceptional Nurses that attended.
